Hast ja recht, die Probleme liegen eigentlich ganz wo anders, nämlich in
der geringen Aktivität. Der ganze Bakenbetrieb ist zwar interessant aber
wenn man mal wieder ein CQ sehen könnte und ein paar echte QSOs, dann
wäre das schon viel eher ein Ansporn mitzumachen. Ich kann auf LF leider
auch nur sehr temporär was dazu beitragen. Meine Antenne auf der Arbeit
hätte auch schon lange fertig sein sollen, ich hoffe das wird noch was
in dieser Saison, das liegt an der Uni-Bürokratie... Es wird ein 70m
langer Langdraht aus Edelstahl, mit 10mm Durchmesser, in etwa 30m Höhe,
zwischen 2 Hochhäusern. Die Häuser werden zwar ein paar Verluste machen
aber das Erdsystem ist sehr gut und ich habe dann nen (Dreh-)
Stromanschluss ;-). Also, dauert noch etwas aber demnächst können wirs
mal wieder richtig krachen lassen, in CW natürlich, wie früher! Bist du
dabei? :-)
Die nächste Drachenaktivität will ich ja nur auf 137 kHz machen, mit dem
300m Drachen. Das wird zwar etwas Zeit in Anspruch nehmen, bis alles
angepasst ist aber dann müsstest du mich mit 599+++ hören :-) Also lass
uns dann mal ein Sked machen, OK? :-)

You just can't beat a full callsign, even if you do sometimes only get
snatches of it. As it is, stations are often 'identified' by frequency

very dubious visual evidence!

Is national law requires a full id it can always be send in 12WMP CW.

OK, it seems that most people want full suffixes to be sent. I
believe I had good reasons to use a short ID, but I am happy to go
along with the majority view.
Of course the final straw was Mal threatening not to talk to me!
Beacon tonight (in addition to, and not instead of, real QSOs) will
be on 136.177kHz, 'XDV' synchronised with the start of each hour.
