Dear LF,

On October, 27th i got the idea to try to contact an OM in Iceland/TF to motivate him for some work on VLF. Jay gave me the hint which you can see below. This was a very useful hint since i got a contact to Halldor/TF3HZ by that. In QRZ.com i found his adress and it took about 12 hours until he ordered the electronic parts for my active E field antenna :-) After some tests his setup works and since a few days he is member of this reflector as well :-) Chris/4X1RF and me are often in contact to him and work on setting up a VLF grabber (that is still not official) and the VLF receiving situation, with great progress! As far as i know this is the only contact to Iceland within this reflector. If the VLF RX is optimised i will be pleased to transmit a signal for him there in HP94AD, 2400 km :-) It is a very interesting region and maybe we can even do some work on LF there in some time? :-)

Lets welcome him here :-)

I've seen WSPR spots on 500 kHz from TF3HZ. Maybe he can be coaxed to QSY down a bit.

Subject: LF: TF?

Dear group,

Does anybody know if someone from Iceland (TF) is QRV member of this group or are there OMs who are (or have been) active on LF?
You know what i am thinking about ;-)
