I used a similar one for a multiband dipole for the upper HF frequency bands but I don't think they would work for LF.

Have you also been looking into the performance of bifiliar wound common mode chokes, e.g. 15 turns on the popular FT-37-43 Amidon ferrite toroid?

These come in handy for receiver applications.
