When using MultiPSK as the decoder be advised that the program has
been known to occasionally go on 'walkabout' after loss of signal.
Stopping and restarting the decoder seems to solve the problem.

there is another nice piece of software including mfsk8 as one of its
TX/RX modes: IZ8BLY Stream program which can be downloaded from:
http://xoomer.virgilio.it/aporcino/Stream/index.htm
and being free of mentioned 'walkabout' problem. in the most lower
and right parts of the main program screen there is a small window where
you can
precisely setup the desired qrg and just below unmark the AFC button
