I am sure this is drifting way way off topic for this reflector.

Just to throw the cat in the fire, I thought this month's RadCom
(when I finally received it) was considerably above average. The 3B7C
article was excellent, very much of interest to me, and produced
incredibly soon after the DX-pedition ended. The contest supplement
is a welcome improvement on contest reporting, even though this time
it is largely about vhf/uhf contests which don't interest me. Part of
Technical Topics was good, though part not so.

I have no inerest in SDR and find the coverage somewhat over the top.

Other articles were sufficiently good that it took a couple of
evenings to give it a thorough read.

I agree that there should be some component adverts - the nearest to
that seems to be the Westlake ad. And I have now worked out why the
first three sheets use thick glossy paper - so that the prime
advertisers can get high quality colour photos, let us hope they pay
for the priveledge.

I accept that adverts are essential for it to make its way. I am sure
you would not want the (already significant) subs to increase to
compensate.

So enough of the bickering, RadCom has to cater for a wide range of
interests. In any one issue there will be things you are not
interested in and others that you are. If your interest is not
covered then submit an article - it is not difficult, even I have
done it.
