Yes, I am using a small relay in my E-probe antenna.
It connects the whip to ground when power is removed.
I did not notice any change in sensitivity after adding
the relay (although I did not measure it). The relay
adds only a pF or so which is quite small compared to
the whip//FET capacitance in my antenna.
