Hello LF'ers,

Thanks for all the great replies, I am near testing time with the none
vac Russian REW15 relay, and I intend to use a second relay to ground
the RX antenna jack of the TS-590 during TX. My hopefully final
question is this. Should I just use a low current PCB mount type relay
to ground the antenna co-ax in the switching box, or go for a big 100
Amp jobbie with the thought that SHOULD a kW of RF get to this relay
for whatever reason it will probably blow a small relay apart, but a
high current one SHOULD hold up and route it to ground and protect the
RX side of the TS-590 (which is solely used for RX). Thanks, both for
posts here and some remarkably detailed stuff by direct mail!
