Hi Jim,

Could you send me one of those audio files ?
I would like to try how my FFT-based auto-multi-notch filter can cope with it, or if some modifications would help to let it defeat that kind of noise.

Attachments up to 3 MByte should be ok.

Dear LF Group,

Results of monitoring the Rugby Loran signal here for the past few days
(times utc):

5th July - on at 0651, off 1014, on 1016, off at 1532.

6th July - on at 0652, off 0848, on 0858, off 0902, on 0903, off 1535.

7th July - on at 0651, off 0918, on 0919, on continuously to date (0730, 8th
July).

I made .wav audio recordings of the start-up of the Loran signals in about
1kHz bandwidth within the 136kHz band, and have edited these down to a
couple of minutes to contrast the difference between Loran and no Loran. The
Loran chatter is rather loud! I can send these files if interested although
they are quite large (2 - 3 Mbytes).

Cheers, Jim Moritz

Hi all I guess someone is working overtime!! The signal came up later this
morning but is still running now at 2100 BST which suggests the "smoke
tests" are completed, and it will be 24/7 now.
