Hello Eberhard,Thanks for the information and the call on 137.5 kHz on sunday. Better luck next time.. with less QRM/QRN on this side which made the receiver's AGC jump up and down, furthermore Loran(?) was unusually strong - or another annoying local noise source has occurred. Haven't check the frequencies yet, this may be a game to play while looking for activity on the band. The Loran lines on the waterfall were actually just outside the PSK08 spectrum, may be a bit too close. I am already working on a higher-order bit filter (more than the 79 coeff's which are used at the moment) to make the system more immune to strong adjacent signals, and to make the preample tone longer which makes manual tuning easier. Best regards, Wolf DL4YHF . |
