Here more up in the North 138.8 is creating a lot of noise when modulated,
the spot on the band with the lowest side band QRM from both 135.5 and 138.8
is around 136.5 kHz. Far from quiet but possible to use for weak signal CW
contacts. WSPR and QRSS seems to have less problems with this kind of QRM.
138.8 kHz is -36 dBm (almost 40dB over 9)
135.5 kHz is -54 dBm (almost 20dB over 9)

From my point of view, a QRG around 137.2kHz would be the best choice
for a CW-QSO. This is just the cleanest QRG here in central to east
Europe. Below, HGA22 is an issue and above DCF39 is splattering in.

Usually i am on 136.8 kHz but if most stations listen and call on 136.5
i will QSY to that QRG too for my calls. I think a center of activity
would be most useful to coordinate the CW activity.
Looking forward to the quieter season :-) There are strong thunderstorms
in the moment near Heidelberg, no chance here. The grabber is almost
totally white ;-)
