I always believed that you could calibrate true bolometric RF ammeters using DC? I've checked a couple of thermocouple RF ammeters and it seems to work. Martin Evans You can, if you calibrate in DC reversing the current flow and averaging the readings. Many thermocouple ammeters exibit asymmetries, probably due to other thermocouple effects in the joints, that are nulled in AC. 73, Marco IK1ODO |
