As previously mentioned on the reflector, Mailwasher
(http://www.mailwasher.net) is a handy tool for quickly deleting the
stuff (and viruses) without having to download it. It won't of course
stop you getting it in the first place, and don't bother with its
'bounce' option, nearly all spam comes from fictitional addresses.
There are no archives of this reflector, so it is unlikely it in
itself is a source. The spammers get their addresses by all sorts of
means including alphabet searches for valid addresses. You only seem
to have to have an active email address to attract the stuff these
days.
