Andrew Nunn wrote: Hi all,I received a message purporting to come from a member of this list at 15.24 today. This had an attachment with the filename satellites.doc.pif. Thankfully this was caught by my virus checker (definitions dated 30/09/2002) and quarantined. Well, my virus checker didn't spot it. Probably it needs to be updated. I read the message, but did nothing about the attachment. Then, after reading the warnings, I deleted that message alltogether. Am I infected ? I used Mozilla to read the mail, so if the virus relies on security exposures of Outlook, I should be safe. Any advice based on direct experience on this ? TNX es 73 Alberto I2PHD |
