In the meantime I hav found, that the IC 4017 has an aux-Bit output. For the figures o...4 it is log. H, for the figures 5...9 it is log. L. it may be that we can use (abuse) this output as a symmetrical output (duty cycle D=0,5) for this purpuse. See at
