carrier this morning has produced a fine dash on 8270.005 Hz in my 63 uHz
window. Paul Nicholson reported a steady phase around
midnight.
Regarding castle
mode, I don't think it will be very effective for this type of
weak-signal work. Also the feedback PLL will only be able
to correct a single frequency.

But..... I think you have to figure
out a mode that produces a bright level like A0 mode (contunue key
down).
Last night's broadcast trace was
lilluminated my dekstop surface :-)
This castle mode is recognizable
because all the pixels are at the same frequency (straight
line),
but the "random noise pixels"
have the same brightnes...
Perhaps slow down to 4 hour per dash
or so ???
