It appears to be as good as the FLEX 3K on 24 es 28 Mhz CW and sensitivity
good and selectivity more than adequate.
I have a Datong converter IF 28 ES 144 Mhz so will have coverage right down
to the LF freq bands
Using a small 60 – 80 Mhz antenna at present so with the proper
resonant antennas for the desired bands it will be even better.
Using a fast laptop with 8 Gb ram and win 8

Mine is performing fb this morning on 24 es 28 Mhz, no mods Antenna direct
into the dongle.
Cannot fault it so far and is also doing well on a test on the air
band
I have not tried the upper limit yet., good performer for less than
£10

Mal,
Its just a wire and a 0.1 uF to pin 1 (
?) of the A/D chip , fed from the
out put of the ATU , then select
direct sample in the software
a small pre-amp at a band pass filter
would help as the gain drop's off , for some
reason at MF , but for £6 its as good
as ft897d on 500
and better cross mod on top band /80 from the
local BBC MW station
Dont have any resolve on the win-7 , no one
on the user group seemed to have that problem , im
running win-xp-pro on this pc

Graham
are you using a modified dongle ie wire bypassing the tuner for LF/MF
The dongle I have works fb with win8 but still having trouble on one
computer with win7 ultimate.

Maybe some one is calling , but this is
all I can see , and that's before the flashing
lights are dug out of the attic
G,
and after a hour or so , it stops
