Hello, 18 V + 18 V = 36 VJust use two transformers with series secondaries to get close to the "magic" 40 V Paul-Henrik, OH1LSQ Quoting Chris Wilson <[email protected]>: Hello Stefan and Hugh, OK, thanks Stefan and Hugh, I don't think they had anything over about 18V secondaries. I got my toroidal transformer for my G3YXM 136kHz amp from www.tme.eu as they were the cheapest i could find with sensible carriage costs. They have this: http://www.tme.eu/en/details/55186-p1s2/toroidal-transformers/talema/#They are not much good above audio frequencies and the turns ratio is not convenient either. I should accept them and sell them on to enthusiastic builders. I'd quite like, say, a 500VA 40+40V toroidal for which I'd happily pay! Hugh-- Best regards, Chris mailto:[email protected] |
