Yes - I don't think I missed any periods, except of course when
listening elsewhere - hi! - so the new soundcard seems to have cured
the problem.

None at the moment. The original class-E CW TX is out of circuit,
pending modification to change it to linear mode, and the ATU has been
removed from the antenna and a 9:1 transformer put in its place to allow
wideband reception on that antenna (specifically to allow me to go down
to 136 if necessary.

So at the moment, and for the forseeable future, I'm RX only. Sorry!
