comm A2A bcns: ILM 488 kHz -115 dBm C 485 -110 dBm TBV 492 -114 dBm Z 508 -103 dBm KN 494 -92 dBm. Anyone with info re. these comm beacons? (qth?) Jörg,these are NDB's (non directional beacons) of airports, airstrips and heliplatforms. They are used for navigation. A full list compiled by PA0RDT can be found at http://www.beaconworld.org.uk/roelof/RoelofsNDBOffsets2007.pdf I can hear a lot of these NDB's in the 460-525kHz range every night and find them very useful to check propagation. 73, Rik ON7YD - OR7T Disclaimer: http://www.kuleuven.be/cwis/email_disclaimer.htm |
