Is there
any reason why I can't run DFCW using port LPT1 from my laptop?
Both modes
run ok from my desktop PC using serial port. All I have done is
make an
adapter from 9 pin serial to 25 pin parallel & that is ok using
qrss
mode.
If DFCW needs a serial port then running it via a 9 to 25 pin adaptor from
a parallel printer port, LPT1, isn't going to work unless you've built a proper
parallel to serial adapter....
but it's not sounding at the moment as though you've done that.
Have you just made a lead up?
