Dear Andy,
on May 30th from 00.30 to 01.00 UTC I have received your beacon on 1960 kHz in
the southeast of Germany (eastern Bavaria), QTH JN68GN, with a maximum of S5 at
full power (noise level at about S3). The following power down steps caused the
signal to disappear quickly. At 02.45 UTC the callsign could not be copied
correctly because of QSB, but with good reading at 01.00 UTC. Therefore for
easier identification I would recommend to send the callsign QSZ2 or QSZ3,
somewhat lower speed would also be helpful.
Receiving aerial has been my T-aerial for LF, without any tuning. Receiver is
an old TS-830s but still in good shape.
