Has anybody tried using the Russian teflon doorknob capacitors for tuned circuits on 137 khz? I have seen some rated at 2000pf at 16kv which will give me the 8000pf I require to tune the loop. So far most caps get hot or self destruct when getting to 1kw, only 2/3 power. Current at 800 w is about 20 amps. Thanks Dave |
