I'd have no hesitation in using the poly caps.

Some ceramics are terrible.

The proof of the pudding comes in whether or not they heat up, but at 10W...

Hi all.

I'm trying to select some 8n2 capacitors for use in a low pass filter at 630m
They need to handle about 10 Watts maximum but I can't decide if I should
avoid or accept Polyester (PET),  Multi layer ceramic or Polypropylene.

The polyester isn't one I've worked with before with RF, but it seems available in 5%
and with voltages around 250V DC at reasonable cost.

Any thoughts??
