Dear Laurie & Group,

Not sure if a band plan exists as such, but the way it has normally been worked in the past is something like: 71.6kHz - 71.75kHz manual CW "window" (when the Rugby TX is running, this is the quietest bit of the band, and so best part for a CW QSO). around 71.8kHz - QRSS (at one point, the 5 or so stations regularly operating QRSS each had their own "channel" in 10Hz increments - mine was 71.81kHz).

It only becomes an issue when a number of people are QRV, especially when working cross-band. I think I will stick to 71.81 for X-band QRSS tonight - that way there isn't much chance of clashing. Unless anyone has a better idea...........

I had no problem hearing you last week, Laurie, so will certainly be listening on 73k at 2000, and periodically after that, for a CW QSO.

Cheers, Jim Moritz
