Think we must end this thread it was started as an O/T out burst from me..... sorry

 

Graham that's right its not friendly and the old mags we used to keep because of all the useful schematics are just so much fire lighter now. Even if the author offers to supply in a couple of years he has lost interest or disappeared of is SK.  The way Johan (SM6JKM) did is WSPR pic project is IMHO dead right. I had fun with that!

 

 

OK Stefan I am glad you understand me. I was a bit worried I had upset Christian which is the last thing I wanted to do. Ok on the 4 Candles joke it works because of our  (English) imprecise  language and the way some words sound alike. If you want to hear English spoken correctly never listen to a native speaker we mess it up..... hee.

 

Sorry not set up for the moment on 472 need to sit down and sort my QRO stuff out then try. May be this fall.

 

Mal's been on 60m working ./P SSB probably from his back garden.....hee

Very nice. Sounds peaceful and in agreement to our humour :-) From time to time there are very nice emails coming in here, some of them stay in my mind. Like the photo of a Spanish OM showing a bird sitting in the shadow of a tower. And Eddie asking what causes the black line on the street. Or Graham's hinto and link to the Hungarian translation book or the 4 candles link ;-) Or some provoking emails from Mal ;-) Just fine!

Pete, do you plan to become QRV there? Will it be in CW (too) ? And when?

I like tubes too! In my rx are 21 of them ;-)

And my tx for HF works still with PL504 in pa...

My secret is out, I confess I build tube projects, although I am not a total Dinosaur. I build SDR SMT and PIC projects. My rant was that I have found a project published by W3PM Gene. Nicely lay out but totally and utterly useless because there is no HEX code to go with the article. However I have found another of his articles publish which is a dead copy of Johan Bodin SM6LKM PIC project of a few years ago where Johan did publish all the PIC program details plus HEX code. So may be plagiarism is rife on the Interweb? 

 

Oh sorry Stefan 10nano Farads but you knew what I meant?
