Hi Bob please be aware that signals do not depend on ground level sunrise/sunset. Signals can be/are received up to an hour before sunset and an hour after ground sunrise, particularly as you are now entering the autumn/winter period. I would hate you to is one that might pop out of the nise in this period as they sometimes do.
Good Luck with snagging the DX you must be close to a record distance. I am not sure how you compare with Russia <>New Zealand. I saw some calculations from CT1DRP which suggested it was almost impossible to find a window from CT to ZL but I guess you might have a slight advantage to Western Europe. Unfortunately Brian is no longer active on 136kHz since he moved out of Porto.
