Chris, That is very sad news and thanks for letting us know. Brian was among the first stations I worked, back in 1968. Those were the days of top band A.M. activity (maximum: 10 watts DC input) I also worked Brian many times on 500 kc/s and he will be much missed. Just heard the sad news today that Brian, G3UNT, of
Maidstone, Kent, passed away on Monday 29th. August. He was a keen LF man and
many will have heard his regular 500kHz transmissions. He was also active on
136/7kHz a couple of years back and planned to get on the band
again.
