I made .wav audio recordings of the start-up of the Loran signals in
about
1kHz bandwidth within the 136kHz band, and have edited these down to
a
couple of minutes to contrast the difference between Loran and no Loran.
The
Loran chatter is rather loud! I can send these files if interested
although
they are quite large (2 - 3 Mbytes).

Jim. Is it possible to send just the transition from Loran off to
Loran on? Perhaps 30 seconds or so and 500kb? If not possible, then
I'll leave my dialup running and try the larger file.

p.s. The London regional meeting of the RSGB that took place
last night 'in my manor' was rather poorly attended due to the events in London
yesterday. Peter Kirby gave a 90 minute monologue and left very little time for
questions on band protection.
