Hello Andy, Sorted now, thanks. The flying connectors from the back of the serial card are embossed S4, S5, S6 and S7. But these don't match the Windows port numbering. The lead marked S3 was actually operated by Windows port S4..... So you were right, I was looking at the wrong port. Windows Port S7 which runs the Lady Heather GPS stuf is actually S5 on the card. maybe they can be aligned, but now i see what's happeing it's no big deal. I am am correct in tying pins 4 and 7 together on the serial port plug to share the load of the SSR input? It is working now like that, so hopefully that's why you made both high or low together?
