In florida keys,reception  defeated by noise from power-lines on docked sail-
boat but staring at the base-loading coils used with 8 foot whips for Loran . Most boats throwing these antennas away since GPS. Anyone confirm Loran frequency. Hence the Inductance of these now two-a-penny devices?
