In looking at the message header after it passed through the reflector and
arrived back via AOL, I notice thorcom.com already uses the SpamAssassin filter.
That is probably the answer to my earlier observation about there being
miraculously little spam on this reflector, under the circumstances.
Still, the fact remains that advertising messages below the SpamAssassin
threshold do get through, which would not happen if posts were only accepted from
members using their subscribed e-mail addresses.
I will now hush and crawl back into my cave until the next time someone says
"isn't there something that can be done about the spam."
