Thanks Gary and, yes, exactly Mike. Help appreciated. Probably wont get a lot of use because local QRM has become dreadful in the last year or so, weak signals are 'no go' anymore here.

Well, from the point of view of someone without the software, you may
be right, and there is a facility to include a callsign in CW though
most people don't use it.

Looking at Ofcom's most recent proposals to change the licence, I
note that it does not stipulate Morse ident, merely an "appropriate
format consistent with the mode of operation". Plainly Opera does
that as the callsign is just about all it sends, and the software is
publicly and freely available.
