Dear LF Group,Have just had a 500kHz QSO with GB4FPR, who is peaking at about 569, but fading to nothing in the QSB, which is troublesome as usual at this distance. Also heard G3KEV calling for X-band contacts to 40m. The 500kHz M0BMU WSPR beacon is now QRV with 33% TX and about 2 - 3W ERP - any reports very welcome. I have set the WSPR rig to work split-frequency, transmitting on 502.4kHz "dial frequency" 503.900kHz RF, and receiving and uploading spots from 136.28kHz "dial frequency" (hopefully!). Conditions on 136k seem to be quite noisy. Cheers, Jim Moritz73 de M0BMU |
