Hello the list,

Having completely re-built my antenna tuner to handle higher power, i find that I lack sufficient capacitance to resonate the loop in the T/A window. I will be ordering a 15kV NP0 doorknob to bring the loop to resonance, but that will most likely take till next weekend. My question for the group - In the short term, Is there any value to putting a beacon (CW or QRSS) around 139 kHz? (No need for a fit of apoplexy, my experimental license covers 136-140 kHz). I have thought of putting a QRSS signal on 138.825 close enough to DFC-39 so that it may appear on spectra of those monitoring DFC-39.
