Ted,
For info, LF one-way world records were extended overnight last Saturday, by
the RU6LA beacon from European Russia. Paths are some 34 km more than
previous best paths to RN6BN.

Dear LF enthusiasts,
I am glad to congratulate New Zealand's LF enthusiasts on successful
reception of European HAM's beacon!
Some details of my beacon:
- QTH-loc KN97LN (Machta)
- local sunset abt 15z (Oct 2) - sunrise in ZL abt 18z
- start at 1608z (I planned from 1430z) and finish at 1842z in QRSS120
137.7895 "RURURU..."
- power abt 15-20w ERP with Big Vertical (H effective ~90...100m after
some updatings)
- abt 1630z temperature in our field shack was sharply omitted on abt
10 degr C and DDS (VCO) has not sustained it ;-((
- I have sent the personal e-mailes abt my beacon to some ZLs only on Oct
1
at 14z and not all ZLs could RX a beacon
ZLs have made new best distances 1-way on 136kHz (in LA0FX's software):
Bob ZL2CA (RE78IR) - 16473km
Andrew ZL2BBJ (RE78JS) - 16477km
TNX by all for the reports!
(Marcus DF6NM - you all see without any announcements ;-)) freq is not
popular in Eu in QRSS120)
Also TNX to Alan G3NYK for his very useful "Latest Propagation Reports"!
