Yes, I agree, my IC-703 is utterly hopeless at 136/7kHz. The IC-718 is quite 
good though.

I can confirm first hand that the IC-703 is virtually dead down at 137
kHz. My references are the Icom IC-R75, JRC NRD-91 and even the Icom
IC-718.

Could we compile a list of known & tried suitable receivers for 137kHz ?
