Hi Geri ,
Heard your beacon last Sunday evening in plain CW with a signal strenght of
6-10 Db over the noise in a bandwidth of 300 Hz in my Drake R7 receiver with
an active antenna more or less like Roelof,s but with a 30 cm, long bicycle
spoke antenna . .
My location is JO21BV ,

Hi Wolf,
yes, indeed, your link is correct, thanks for correcting the typo!
Besides the general ability for everyone to switch on DI2BO for a pre-set
time by phone I am myself able to control DI2BO by mobile phone (by SMS).
Currently I just can switch it on and off, later I will also be able to
switch the power from high to low and also the mode from CW to QRSS and
vice-versa.
I can update the website information by e-Mail from my mobile phone, too,
so
I think I have everything under control from my pocket -hi- ... I can even
read the temperature of the PA-module from a remote location. The toy
doing
all that is a new cllphone/remote control module that you can get for
example at Conrad Electronic.
