As other have pointed out, based on the frequency that is probably WE2XGR/2
on 506.5 kHz. The beacon runs ~0000 to ~0430 Z with a 10 wpm cw ID every 15
seconds or so with a break at the top of most hours looking for cw QSOs. As
the season progresses
If you're interested I can also run QRSS3, 10 or any other mode by request.

I have attached part of a saved grab taken at 0405utc showing the best
shot
of a beacon type signal. The signal first appeared very weakly at 0033utc

faded out at 0417utc showing periodically between these times with QSB.
Was there a signal transmitted on this frequency? As it does look very
much
like a beacon. I have no frequency list for US beacons in that frequency
band.
The continuous line seen on the grab is I think from a neighbours TV.
