There have been designs for 500 kHz low pass filters on the RSGB reflector.
There is still nil to report on 500 kHz in ZL.

Like my friend Dave, ZL3FJ, I am also "in waiting" on a 500kHz
allocation in ZL land.
I have done some testing on my "modded" IC706 Mk2 using a thermal RF
ammeter and dummy load.
About 30 watts maximum output was obtained although the waveform was
nothing to write home about. My attempts to get more output power
were rewarded with a much poorer waveform and no more output. No
doubt, some filtering could greatly reduce the obvious harmonic content.
