From G3PLX: My contact at Lancaster University tells me that the Aurora alert this afternoon was caused by an equipment malfunction. No aurora is expected.I was watching the phase of LORAN lines on 136kHz and saw no unusual phase advance, so it did seem a little strange, and the Xray flux activity this afternoon didn't tie in. 73 Peter |
