MessageWolf,
By accident, I received Gary's mail when checking my inbox for any reports
on an MSK test transmission this afternoon. Congrats and many thanks go to
Ko, who -afaik- made the first successfull reception (incl. decoding) of an
MSK08 MSK31 transmission on the LF amateur radio band. <
Maybe not! WD2XES ran MSK31 from 1800-1900 UTC on 31 Dec, and MSK08 from
1900 - 2000. W1VD had perfect MSK31 copy at 114 km, and W3NF had a few words
at 542 km. The MSK08 run produced good copy at both locations. I had a few
garbles in my local copy of 08, but couldn't find out what was producing
them.
This was preceded by several hours of Jason Fast, which was well copied, and
followed by an hour of chirped Hell, which also produced good results.
