Very widespread non use of metric weights and measures
How about all the different spoken/written languages in the world. This is where CW operators have an advantage using internationnal Q and Z codes plus other international abbreviationns and procedures also used by the marine and aeronautical services.

While there may be widespread usage of non-metric units, with the
exception of Mayanmar, the entire far and middle east has officially
adopted SI.
