That seems strange and contrary to accepted theory............ ----------------------- Just a thought - pure water is an insulator. Part of the ground resistance will be made up of salts dissolved in the moisture in the ground. If you add rain water, which is probably more pure than the salt solution in the soil, does the soil solution get weaker and a become poorer conductor? Steve |
