Good folks,

I've now got a most basic WSPR TX system on-air transverting my FT817 TX from 28MHz down to 500kHz. It is only putting out 700mW from the TX, so only microwatts being radiated from the poor antenna at the moment. Although I cannot yet transceive on 500kHz, when I get back from holiday in a few weeks I will set to work getting more power, full transceive and a moderately credible antenna.

However, nothing ventured nothing gained, I will put this WSPR TX on the air this evening starting shortly in case anyone can hear me.  Any WSPR spot reports would fill me with total amazement and delight.
