Sounds like a good idea. We tend to forget that not everybody active or
interested in (V)LF is on the Net. It could also act as focus for listeners
who may eventually become active, or from countries yet to be licenced.

Subject: LF: SSB low frequency network
To All,
John, G4GVC, used to run a net for LF-amateurs on Sundays, starting at 2100
hrs. UK time, on 1875 kHz SSB. Unfortunately John's work prevented him to do
this any longer. Luckily Dave, G3YXM, took over. But he had to stop the net
when propagation became too poor.
Personally I would like the net to be resumed but then on 80 metres because
propagation on that band is now excellent in the evening hours. Also
frequency allocations on 160 metres are not the same in European countries.
In the Netherlands for instance it is only 1830 - 1850 kHz.
We would be lucky if John could be persuaded to put on the red cap again and
if he agrees it would be fair to ask him to propose a day and time for the
net.
But first we have to know whether there is sufficient interest in restarting
a SSB-net on 80 metres.
So please put your opinion on the reflector!
