I just bought several UPS units. These make good
psu's for LF/MF fet transmitters etc Depending on model these make
ideal psu's for fet LF/MF transmitters delivering from 12v to 60v at
several amps. They have the added advantage because of the batteries of
delivering power even when the mains goes off, at least enough to finish a qso.
They can also be used as battery chargers. The 230v outputs could also be handy,
this is of course what they were intended to do. My models are
POWERSURE some delivering up to 1400 watts.
