OH1TN is about the same distance and I have had many CW
qso's with him over the years day time/night time and winter and
summer.
also others from EU and the UK have worked him many
times.
This is normal.
Around the end of this month and January we should also be
audible with some of the East coast USA stns and VE1IQ and at least on QRS 3
-10.
I try to work between QRS 3 - 20 and 30 if condx poor but
not slower because it takes too long and suffers from QSB dips at
times.
It varies from year to year, depends on
propagation and if anyone is listening.

Subject: Re: LF: LF OBSERVATIONS
I have even better observations:
Halldor/TF3HZ and me,
we found that G3KEV and DK7FC seems to be audible in TF, good for a CW test.
Halldor recorded a wav file of the yesterdays beacon transmissions in the late
evening which i analysed today in SpecLab, using a 250 Hz CW filter and
converting the IF down to 700 Hz. The beacon transmissions have been audible
and a beat frequenvy of about 1 Hz was audible as well, which is about our
shift. We should make a sked with him and try it in CW. Unfortunately he is
not QRV on other band to that time in the moment. Anyway
interesting....

Stefan es LF
I have observed on the TF es VE grabber that
sometimes our signals are about the same strength, other times I am
slightly stronger than you and then you are stronger than me, only slight
differences.
also, QSB occurs on our signals at different times.
This is no doubt due our different locations and paths to the
grabbers.
Interesting
