The D2006 has an SSB output, at headphone listening level, with a switch
between USB and LSB. I have used the set as a communications receiver on HF
for many years with good results. There is also a switch between 80Hz IF
band pass and 3100Hz bandwidth but the recovered audio pitch of CW, is
rather high when using the 80Hz filter. So it is clear that the D2006
already has an SSB demodulator built in.

However, there is a socket marked "100kHz IF", so I suppose one could build
an SSB / CW demodulator to connect to this. It would be simpler to find the
trim pot marked "CW pitch" and turn it down ... if such a thing exists. :-)
