Hi Jim I guess yours were Glass-fibre ...I have seen carbon fibre poles
around and I believe these are actually conducting (dont fish near overhead
lines !!) which might be another  problem on LF. I dont know what some of
the black coloured ones are but if they are loaded with carbon that may not
be good either.
