The link does not seem to work. Martin M5CIX Hello Friends, John Belrose (Communications Research Centre, Ottawa) <[email protected]> presented a paper at the Millennium Conference on Antennas and Propagation Davos Switzerland, 9-14 April 2000, entitled "The Crossed Field Antenna - Analyzed by Simulation and Experiment" in which he describes a numerical simulation and some experiments he conducted on 3657 KHz. His conclusions are essentially that "the CFA is a very inefficient radiator" and that "the excellent operational performance claimed by the inventors of the CFA is an enigma." see also http://members.home.net/propagation/cfa2.rtf 73 Andre' N4ICK |
